Kirtland, Ohio

Step into Church history and feel it come alive as you explore the historic city of Kirtland, Ohio! This special-edition session takes you to the place where more sections of the Doctrine and Covenants were revealed than anywhere else, giving you a front-row seat to the Restoration.

As you walk where the early saints walked, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the sacrifices, faith, and miracles that shaped the early Church. This session includes visits to the following sites:

• The Kirtland Temple and Visitor’s Center
• Joseph and Emma Smith Home
• Stannard Quarry
• Isaac and Lucy Morley Farm
• Historic Kirtland, including a Visitor’s Center, the Newel and Elizabeth Whitney Home, Johnson Inn, Sawmill, Ashery, Schoolhouse and the N.K. Whitney & Co. Store

As you explore these sacred places, you’ll have meaningful opportunities to strengthen your testimony and grow closer to the Savior. Along with powerful history, you’ll also experience all your favorite moments: Gospel Study, Reflect and Review, Musical Program, Dances, Variety Show, Movie Screening, and time to connect with friends who are striving just like you.

For registration support, call 877-221-6716 weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time, excluding holidays. Please make sure that you use the youth's church username to register for the session. 

Check In and Check Out

Check in will begin at 11:00 a.m. EDT at Hiram College. The first activity will begin at 1:00 p.m. EDT. At the end of the session, check out will begin at 6:45 a.m. EDT at Hiram College.

Shuttle Information

A round-trip shuttle is available as on optional add-on during registration for participants who need transportation between Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) and Hiram College.

The shuttle option includes:

• Transportation from the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) to Hiram College) on Sunday, July 12
• Housing Sunday night at Hiram College
• Breakfast and lunch on Monday, July 13, prior to the official start of the session
• Transportation from Hiram College to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) on Saturday, July 18

When booking flights, be aware that the Sunday shuttle departs promptly at 6:00 p.m. Please book a flight that arrives no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 12. The return shuttle will depart Hiram College at 7:45 a.m. EDT on Saturday, July 1. Return flights should be scheduled for 10:00 a.m. or later on July 18.
